Empowering the next Generation through Education in Nepal

Education is a right for every child, wherever the child is living. Unfortunately, this is not for granted for a lot of the Nepalese children living in poverty. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. The most sustainable way to reduce poverty is to offer good education. That is why we want to create opportunities for these children to have access to good education.

Self determination by education

Families in Nepal are close; they form a social network for each family member. For economic reasons many families are separated. To financially support their families, unskilled work is performed far away from home. People move from rural areas in Nepal to the capital Kathmandu or leave Nepal to work abroad. Many children grow up in broken families, having their father or mother living far away. Another important item is that a lot of intellectual capital remains unused
